Zecters also known as the Masked Rider System, are a compilation of mobile systems that affect space and time.
Kabutick Zecters
Kabutick Zecters are a set of movie-exclusive transformation items, allowing Tetsuki Yamato, Hidenari Oda, and Issei Kurosaki to transform into Kamen Riders Ketaros, Hercus, and Caucasus respectively. Unlike other Zecters, the Kabutick Riders have only one form they can transform into, similar to Kabuto's Rider Form.
In order to initiate the transformation, the Kabutick Zecter inserts itself onto the Rider Brace, and the user turns the Zecter so that it is in a straight line with his right arm. Turning the Kabutick Zecter 180 degrees allows the user to perform a Rider Beat. However this is not the case for Caucasus, since his finisher makes use of a Hyper Zecter.

- Rider Beat! ― Finisher announcement
- 1. Caucasus Zecter (Kabutick Zecters)
- Used by : Issei Kurosaki, the Caucasus Kabutech Zecter allows the wearer to transform into Kamen Rider Caucasus.
- The design is a gold Atlas beetle, which is also called as a "Caucasus beetle".
- Its Rider Beat, as performed on this Zecter, is used to initiate a tachyon-charged Rider Punch or Rider Kick, though this is never shown in the series proper, as Caucasus prefers using the Hyper Zecter for a finisher.
2. Ketaros Zecter (Kabutick Zecters)
- 2. Ketaros Zecter (Kabutick Zecters)
- Used by : Tetsuki Yamato, the Ketaros Kabutech Zecter allows the wearer to transform into Kamen Rider Ketaros.
- The design is a bronze Centaurus beetle.
- By using Rider Beat, the stored tachyon particles become fused within the ZECT Kunai Gun, resulting in a stronger Avalanche Slash.
3. Hercus Zecter (Kabutick Zecters)
- 3. Hercus Zecter (Kabutick Zecters)
- Used by : Hidenari Oda, the Hercus Kabutech Zecter allows the wearer to transform into Kamen Rider Hercus.
- The design is a silver Hercules beetle.
- By using Rider Beat, the stored tachyon particles become fused within the ZECT Kunai Gun, resulting in a stronger Avalanche Break
Hopper Zecter
PunchHopper Zecter |
KickHopper Zecter |
The two-in-one Hopper Zecter allows them to transform: Respectively, unlike the rest of the Zecters, KickHopper and PunchHopper have only one form the user can transform into, resembling ZECT Riders' Rider Forms.
This Zecter is reversible, which makes it unique among the other Zecters. The green side of the Zecter (facing left) allows the user to become Kamen Rider KickHopper, while the red side of the Zecter (facing right) allows the user to become Kamen Rider PunchHopper.
Pulling the leg of the Hopper Zecter allows the user to Rider Jump while placing it back to its original position allows the user to perform either a Rider Kick (in the case of KickHopper) or a Rider Punch (in the case of PunchHopper).
TheBee Zecter
- TheBee Zecter
- TheBee Zecter allows its user to transform into Kamen Rider TheBee.
- As with all of the Zecters, TheBee has two basic forms that the user can transform into: Masked Form and Rider Form.
- In order to initiate the transformation into Masked Form, the TheBee Zecter is inserted onto the Rider Brace. By flipping the TheBee Zecter's wings and turning the Zecter itself 180 degrees whilst on the Rider Brace, the user can Cast Off and enter Rider Form.
- Pressing the red button on the Zecter allows the user to perform the Rider Sting attack
- Turning the Zecter 180 degrees and flipping its wings back to its original position allows the user to Put On and return to Masked Form, though this was never showcased in the series.
Sasword Zecter
- Sasword Zecter
- Sasword Zecter : Allows Tsurugi Kamishiro to transform into Kamen Rider Sasword.
- As with all of the Zecters, Sasword has two basic forms that the user can transform into: Masked Form and Rider Form.
- In order to initiate the transformation into Masked Form, the Sasword Zecter is inserted onto the Sasword Yaiver.
- By pinching the Sasword Zecter's tail whilst on the Sasword Yaiver, the user can Cast Off and enter Rider Form.
- Releasing and pinching its tail again allows the user to perform the Rider Slash attack. However, unlike other Zecters, the Sasword Zecter lacks a Put On command.
Drake Zecter
- Drake Zecter
- Drake Zecter : Allows Daisuke Kazama to transform into Kamen Rider Drake.
- As with all of the Zecters, Drake has two basic forms that the user can transform into: Masked Form and Rider Form.
- In order to initiate the transformation into Masked Form, the Drake Zecter flies until its tail touches the Drake Grip.
- By pulling the end of the Drake Zecter's tail while attached to the Drake Grip, the user can Cast Off and enter Rider Form.
- Clipping its wings together and turning it 90 degrees backward and pulling the end of the Drake Zecter's tail once again allows the user to perform the Rider Shooting attack.
- Returning the Zecter's wings to its original position and pulling the end of its tail once more initiates the Put On command, though this is never showcased in the series proper.
Dark Kabuto Zecter
- Dark Kabuto Zecter
- Dark Kabuto Zecter : Allows Souji Kusakabe to transform into Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto. As with all of the Zecters, Dark Kabuto has two basic forms that he can transform into: Masked Form and Rider Form. His forms resemble those of Kamen Rider Kabuto in different colors.
- The transformation method is the same as for when Souji Tendou transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto.
- By placing the Dark Kabuto Zecter onto the Rider Belt, Souji transforms into Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto in Masked Form before he flips the "horn" on the Dark Kabuto Zecter, like a switch, to initiate the Cast Off command in order to assume the sleeker Rider Form.
- Pressing the buttons on the Dark Kabuto Zecter's "legs" in order (1-2-3) and flipping the horn to its original position allows Souji to charge his Rider Kick until he flips its horn once again to initiate the Rider Kick.
- Flipping the horn back to its original position without pressing the leg buttons initiates the Put On command.
Kabuto Zecter
- Kabuto Zecter
- Kabuto Zecter : Is Souji Tendou's personal Zecter that was created, along with its other Zecters, by the Natives 35 years prior to the events of the series
- A mobile device that was modeled after the Japanese rhinoceros beetle.
- By placing the Kabuto Zecter onto the Rider Belt, Tendou transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto in Masked Form before he flips the "horn" on the Kabuto Zecter, like a switch, to initiate the Cast Off command in order to assume the sleeker Rider Form.
- Pressing the buttons on the Kabuto Zecter's "legs" in order (1-2-3) and flipping the horn to its original position allows Tendou to charge his attack until he flips its horn once again to initiate the Rider Kick.
- Flipping the horn back to its original position without pressing the leg buttons initiates the Put On command.
- When attached to the Perfect Zecter, it can give Hyper Kabuto the power to use the Hyper Blade and Hyper Cannon attacks, as well as combining with the other Zecters to unleash the Maximum Hyper Typhoon and Maximum Hyper Cyclone finishers.
- Final FormRide : Kabuto Zecter
- The Zecter Kabuto Final Form Ride card is used by Kamen Rider Decade to transform Kabuto into a giant Kabuto Zecter, able to burrow underground.
Gatack Zecter
- Gatack Zecter
- Gatack Zecter : Allows Arata Kagami to transform into Kamen Rider Gatack.
- As with all of the Zecters, Gatack has two basic forms that he can transform into: Masked Form and Rider Form. Kagami's Zecter has a higher-pitched voice than the other Zecters.
- By placing the Gatack Zecter onto the Rider Belt, Kagami transforms into Kamen Rider Gatack in Masked Form before he turns the "horns" on the Gatack Zecter 180 degrees to initiate the Cast Off command in order to assume the sleeker Rider Form.
- Pressing the oval button on its "abdomen" three times and returning the horns to their original position allows Kagami to charge his attack until he turns its horns once again to initiate the Rider Kick.
- Turning the horns back to their original position without three presses of the abdomen button initiates the Put Oncommand.
Perfect Zecter
Perfect Zecter
Combining Final Sword Perfect Zecter is Hyper Kabuto's signature weapon. This sword-like Zecter has two modes: Sword Mode and Gun Mode. The Drake, TheBee and Sasword Zecters can be summoned and attached onto the weapon, either individually or all at once. Also, depending on the Zecter that is currently attached, the Perfect Zecter is capable of utilizing a hyper version of the Zecter's finishing attack in either Gun or Sword Mode.
Once a Zecter color is selected at the cross guard, the trigger is pulled to initiate the attack. By attaching all three Zecters, the All Zecter Combine command is activated, allowing for a Maximum Hyper finisher. When Zecters attach onto the Perfect Zecter, they switch into Perfect Mode which is denoted by the color change and position change. The Perfect Zecter is destroyed by the Gryllus Worm in the final episode, although it does return in Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3 where Kabuto uses it in Rider Form rather than in Hyper Form.
Sword Mode Attacks
- Hyper Cannon : This attack was never used in the series, but is activated through Kabuto Power to blast the Worms.
- Hyper Laser : This attack was never used in the series, but is activated through TheBee Power to shoot the Worms with a laser beam.
- Hyper Shooting : By activating Drake Power, the Perfect Zecter releases a tachyon-charged energy gradient that disperses into several homing laser shots.
- Hyper Wave : This attack was never used in the series, but is activated through Sasword Power to shoot the Worms with the sonicwave.
- Maximum Hyper Cyclone : After activating all of the Zecter Powers, the Perfect Zecter releases a vortex of tachyon-charged energy that is able to atomize multiple enemies at once. However, the recoil is so powerful, he must first access Hyper Clock Up to withstand it, although during this state, Hyper Clock Up only affects Kabuto.
Hyper Zecter
Hyper Zecter
Hyper Zecter is an armament allowing Kamen Riders Kabuto and Gatack to access Hyper Form. Additionally, it is also used by those two and Caucasus to Hyper Clock Up, a faster version of Clock Up that also allows the wearer to travel through time.
In order to initiate the transformation into Hyper Form, the Hyper Zecter is placed on the left pad of the Rider Belt (which used to be a Clock Up pad) horizontally, then turned 90 degrees so that the "ZECT" on the Hyper Clock Up pad is upright. After placing the Zecter upright, the user pushes the horn lever on the Hyper Zecter to initiate the Hyper Cast Off command in order to assume the powered Hyper Form. Pressing the red circle button on the Hyper Zecter initiates the Hyper Clock Up command, until the horn lever is pushed once again to initiate Maximum Rider Power.
During Maximum Rider Power, in the case of Kabuto, pressing the buttons on the Kabuto Zecter's "legs" in order (1-2-3) and flipping the horn to its original position allows the user to charge his Hyper Kick until he flips its horn once again to initiate the Hyper Kick, or in the case of Gatack, pressing the oval button on the Gatack Zecter's "abdomen" three times and returning the horns to their original position allows the user to charge his Hyper Kick until he turns its horns once again to initiate his own Hyper Kick. The Hyper Zecters are also capable of traveling through time.
Hyper Info:
- When Caucasus uses Hyper Clock up he pushes the right pad on his belt instead of pressing the red button on the Hyper Zecter, however this error was fixed in the video game.

The Clock Up ability is primarily used by ZECT Riders and allows them to match the speeds of Worms also moving at super speed. According to the narrator of Kamen Rider Kabuto and the characters in the show, Clock Up was supposedly near the speed of light. However this was disproven when Kabuto aided Arata Kagami where a bullet from a handgun was still travelling at a relatively fast speed, making Clock Up's supposed near-light speeds to be exaggerated.
- This is more evident when Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Gatack faced against Kamen Rider Caucasus, who donned the Hyper Clock Up and moved way faster than the two of them while they were in Clock Up.
- Another case to Clock Up's actual speed is when Kabuto and Dark Kabuto face off in their final confrontation on top of falling platforms that appear to be falling instead of being nearly frozen in place if it were at near-light speeds.
- In every crossover where a Rider that possesses super speed that isn't associated with Clock Up and is pitted against the Kabuto Riders, they're able to fight evenly with them.
The Hyper Zecter allows access to Hyper Clock Up, an upgraded version of Clock Up, allowing them to move at speeds that are estimated to be twice as fast as a regular Clock Up. It also has the ability to time travel, allowing its user to rewrite history. It also has a "Maximum Rider Power" mode that increases the output of a Rider's finishing attack.
Kamen Rider Decade (AttackRide : Kabuto Clock Up Card)
- AttackRide : Kabuto Clock Up Card
- In the novel reimagination, Kamen Rider Decade: The World of Tsukasa Kadoya ~The Garden Inside the Lens~, the card somehow ended up in Tendou's possession and gave it to Tsukasa after he realized that he is Decade with the card itself being used by Decade while in Kuuga Mighty Form.
- With the Hyper Clock Up Attack Ride Card, as Kabuto Hyper Form, Decade is able travel at near light speeds, allowing him to travel forward or backward through time. This card is not shown in the TV series, but is used in the S.I.C. Hero Saga side story published in Hobby Japan magazine.
- Decade is also able to perceive the battle of superspeed fights and can also utilize the Clock Up Attack Ride Card if he transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto via a Kamen Ride card. While as Decade Violent Emotion, Decade can use Clock Up without the need of transforming into Kabuto first.
Counters
While Clock Up's ability is to move at super speed, there are those who can counterattack or have a defense against it. Within the crossovers of the Kamen Rider multiverse, there are those with the ability to counter or match the speed of Clock Up.
- Starting off with Kamen Rider Faiz, in a showdown in Kamen Rider Decade, Decade transforms into Faiz Axel and utilizes the form's super speed to combat the ZECT Riders' Clock Up. Though Faiz Axel has been noted to move at the speed of sound while Clock Up has been noted to move slightly slower than the speed of light, Hyper Clock Up was still slower than the speed of light making the actual speed of a regular Clock Up to be around the speed of sound.
- In the first part special of Kamen Rider Wizard, Faiz Axel and Kabuto both moved at the same speed.
- Faiz Axel has been shown in a speed match against Kabuto again in Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3
- Kuuga Pegasus's heightened senses can allow him to combat foes that can move at Clock Up speeds.
- Decade, while transformed as Kabuto, was matched evenly against Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters' Red Buster's super speed.
- In Kamen Rider Decade, there exists a Clock Down generator, created by Sou Otogiri. Once activated it can disable users from using Clock Up, thus slowing them back down to normal human speed.
- Kamen Rider Stronger has been shown to temporarily halt the Clock Up function by using an Electro Fire attack to create a radial blast of electricity, causing Kabuto to forcefully exit Clock Up due to his Rider form's equipment getting zapped by the attack's energy.
- Kamen Rider OOO's Super Tatoba Combo has the ability to displace himself in time momentarily giving him the appearance of teleportation and super speed, thus making him faster if not match any rider using Clock Up. With his telportation ability in mind, it is possible he might be able to counter Hyper Clock Up.
- The ability of Heavy Acceleration distorts time, making anyone in its radius to feel heavier and more sluggish, which would either hinder, negate or rival the speed of Clock Up.
- In theory, if a Rider who used Clock Up attacked an opponent whose power and defense greatly outclasses the attacking Rider's own strength, it would more likely result in the attacking Rider being hurt instead.
