Sluggers

A Crest Weapon is, as its name implies, the crest of an Ultra used as a weapon. The most famous of these weapons is Ultraseven's Eye Slugger, which is a boomerang-like weapon that can be controlled by Ultraseven in flight. It serves as a head crest when not in use, and is the first of several detachable Crest Weapons used by later Ultras.

There are several Ultra warriors who have Eye Slugger-like weapons: Ultraman Max with his Max Sword, Ultraseven 21 who uses the Versard, and Ultraman Zero, the son of Seven, who uses the Zero Sluggers.

These users always keep their blades on their heads when not using them. Each can slice a normal enemy in half, although a few robotic enemies have proven able to resist the Eye Slugger and similar weapons thanks to the strength of the metal used to build them. The most well-known of these is King Joe.  In the Heisei Ultraseven series, Seven's Eye Slugger was broken on the top at the end of an episode. This was because he repeatedly struck King Joe's hard body in the same spot until the robot was defeated by his Ultra Knock Tactics technique. However, in the next episode, it appeared back to normal.

Eye Slugger

  • The Eye Slugger is the signature weapon of Ultraseven. The crest on Ultraseven's head that can be detached and used as a projectile weapon. It is Seven's most well-known weapon, and possibly the most famous of all Ultra items, as well as being one of the most iconic and inspiring items to come from the Ultra Series.

Zero Sluggers

• Main Article : Zero Sluggers
  • The Zero Sluggers are double Crest Weapons similar to Ultraseven's Eye Slugger that are wielded by Ultraman Zero, Darklops Zero, and Ultraman Belial (as Zero Darkness). They can be used in combat and fire beams.

Maxium Sword

• Main Article : Maxium Sword
  • The Maxium Sword is a crest weapon used by Ultraman Max and it is stored at his crest when not in use. It is similar to Ultraseven's Eye Slugger. Like all Crest Weapons, the Maxium Sword is stored on the user's head as a crest. It can be thrown and controlled mentally and cut through even dense objects.

Orb Sluggers

  • A pair of energy boomerang knives utilized by Ultraman Orb, based on Ultraman Zero's Zero Sluggers. Unlike most Crest Weapons, the Ultraman Orb Sluggers do not detach from Ultraman Orb's head, as they are instead released from the blade-like protrusions on his head before returning there after usage.

Xlugger

  • The Xlugger is the main weapon of Ultraman Exceed X. It is stored with in the coding of the Exceed X Spark Doll. The Xlugger is a crest weapon that is kept on Ultraman X's forehead. When put to use in combat the Xlugger extends in length and is capable of dealing several energy attacks.

Darklops Zero Sluggers

The Vezard

Dark Zero Sluggers

  • Zero Darkness, with a flick of his hand, created a crescent shaped burst of energy that not only took down Jean-bot in one hit, but also destroyed Ultimate Force Zero's base. When he does this technique, the corrupted Ultimate Brace shines dark energy for a moment implying it may be the source of the attack.
