Guardians of the Galaxy
The Orb was originally sought out by the thief Peter Quill. It eventually came Korath the Pursuer under the hunt of Ronan the Accuser who was under the orders of the intergalactic warlord Thanos. Quill made his way to Xandar to sell it to the Broker. However, the Broker backed down on their deal when he learned Ronan was also after the Orb. Quill was soon after attacked by Gamora, Thanos' adopted daughter who was hoping to sell the Orb to the Collector. The bounty hunters Rocket and Groot prevented her from taking it and the four of them were taken into the custody of the Nova Corps. They and the Orb were taken to the Kyln, where it stayed until they and fellow inmate Drax escaped on Quill's ship the Milano. The five of them then took the Orb to the Collector's base at Knowhere to sell it to him. There, he removed the Stone from the Orb and revealed to them its true nature, which led one of his slaves, Carina, to grab the Stone in a desperate attempt to free herself.

Abilities
- Energy Projection : The Power Stone can be used to produce blasts, explosions, storms, orbs or tornados of lethal, purple, fire-like energy. When used at maximum potential it can produce an energy wave strong enough to consume a planet. Though the stone seems incapable of performing this function inside a containment orb, instruments such as the Universal Weapon can be used to contain it, preventing the need to directly touch the stone and experience its deadly effects, and still exploit its full power. There has only been two known instances where living creatures have channeled the energy of the Orb. The first resulted in the death of all those who were present. The second was by the Guardians of the Galaxy, whose leader first grabbed it and was being killed by it before the others grabbed his hands and each others to share the energy and their leader released some of the energy to kill Ronan the Accuser. When the energy touched living things, it corroded and burned it by first coursing through and then causing them to burn and disintegrate until they are reduced to purple ambers that then fade. The process of being destroyed by the Stone's power is seemingly extremely painful.
- Enhanced Durablity : Similarly to Malekith while he was wielding the Aether, Ronan's durability was enhanced while bearing his Power Stone-infused Universal Weapon. He withstood a direct, close range shot from the Hadron Enforcer, with no apparent injury as well as not being at all affected by the crashing of the Dark Aster as he walked away from the massive wreckage of his ship as if he had landed without problems.
- Enhanced Strength : The Power Stone also increased Ronan's strength.

Ronan used his Cosmi-Rod to kill The Other. When he obtained the Orb, he fused it with his hammer and used it to destroy Denarian Saal and his army. Later, Drax destroyed the Cosmi-Rod, allowing Star-Lord to get the Orb, which he and his teammates used to destroy Ronan.
Abilities
- Built from advanced Kree technology, the Cosmi-Rod was an effective tool in battle. It displayed various other attributes such as:
- Energy Projection : The Cosmi-Rod is capable of discharging shock waves of pure force, capable of repelling enemies or exerting enough force on a specific target to cause critical damage, such as Ronan's use of the weapon to twist the Other's head around to break his neck. It could be conjoined with the Power Stone to create wider blasts or even beams of energy to cause anything it touched to disintegrate, allowing Ronan to blow up Nova Corps' entire fighter ship fleet with one shot.

The corpse of the G.H. Kree was found by HYDRA and taken for study by the Strategic Scientific Reserve after Peggy Carter and the Howling Commandos siezed 0-8-4's from Austria. Coulson and his team, along with John Garrett and Antoine Triplett find out where the facility is that is housing the GH.325 and the G.H.. Coulson found the floating corpse in the T.A.H.I.T.I. room and in shock at what he finds. When asked by Agent Coulson about blue-skinned aliens that she had encountered, Sif mentioned the Kree as having had contact with the Asgardians.
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Kree were at war with the people of Xandar, as well as their associated planets, for thousands of years, until a peace treaty was finally organised with the Nova Corps. This, however, did not sit well with the fanatical Ronan, who vowed to uphold his people's values of conquering. While the Kree Empire claimed not to approve of his actions, a Kree Ambassador refused to accept Nova Prime's request to condemn his actions either.
Physiology
- The Kree are a humanoid but blue-skinned race with a massive inter-planetary empire. They have been at war with Xandar for thousands of years, and would have been a space-faring race even before that. They are seen to be technologically advanced and one of the prominent species of alien that interact in the space community seen in Guardians of the Galaxy. They have traveled to Earth millennia ago to proceed genetic experiments on humans, resulting in the Inhumans, while also leaving behind Diviners and the Monolith.
- Ronan has exhibited super strength, reflexes, and fighting ability, as well as being able to touch an Infinity Stone for a limited period of time, but it is unknown if this is a quality shared by all Kree or unique to Ronan. However, in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a formula derived from a Kree corpse on Earth is used to aid cellular regeneration in humans with the side effect of the obsessive writing of an alien city. It can be inferred that accelerated healing is a trait exhibited by all Kree and that this Kree city on Earth is of extreme importance to at least the Kree that visited Earth.
