Transformation

- Ultraman Ginga's human host uses the Ginga Spark to transform into Ultraman Ginga. Unlike the other Spark Dolls, Ginga's appears when the Ginga Spark opens up. Hikaru grabs it and places it on the Spark causing the face to appear and a voice to declare "UltraLive: Ultraman Ginga". In the transformation scene, Hikaru's body is enveloped by light which forms twins galaxies in an X formation. Ginga rises out of this while spinning. Ginga than lands often kicking up a circle of dirt.

- Misuzu Isurugi : After Hikaru manages to get Misuzu back to his side when she was brainwashed by Alien Nackle Gray, she briefly joined along with Hikaru as Ginga's host and simultaneously replenish Ginga's Color Timer. Both only joined forces to help Ginga destroy Super Grand King.
- Shou : During Ginga and Victory's fusion into Ultraman Ginga Victory, Shou became one of the Ultra's co-host as a result. He provided the fusion Victory's UlTrans ability via the Victory Lancer.

- Hikaru summons Ginga's Spark Doll by pressing the button located on the hilt, he then swings his arms in a circular fashion before placing Ginga's spark doll on the Ginga Spark. The face on the Spark is revealed and Hikaru shouts "Ginga!" before raises the Ginga Spark into the air.
- Ultraman Ginga Victory
- Both Hikaru and Shou transform via the Ultra Touch by performing acrobatic jump and uniting the Ultra Fusion Brace and the Victory Lancer. Once doing so, the apparitions of Ultraman Ginga and Victory appear and combine, with the next scene shifts to the rising sequence of Ultraman Ginga Victory.

Ginga Spark
- Ginga Spark : Ginga's human host uses the Ginga Spark to transform into Ultraman Ginga. Unlike the other Spark Dolls, Ginga's appears when the Ginga Spark opens up. - Ginga Light Sparks : Are lesser copies of the Ginga Spark. Its dark counterpart are the Dark Dummy Sparks.
- Strium Brace : Is a bracelet that is used by Ultraman Ginga in Ultraman Ginga S. The Strium Brace can change Ultraman Ginga into Ultraman Ginga Strium. He does this by rotating Taro's face 90 degree clockwise.
- Ultra Fusion Brace : Is a transformation braced be use by Hikaru/Ultraman Ginga in Ultraman Ginga S Movie Showdown! The 10 Ultra Brothers!. This bracelet is a successor to the Strium Brace, which at that time was Ultraman Taro's alternate form.
- Ultraman Ginga, Ginga Storium, Ginga Victory Sparkdoll : Ginga's host can use Spark Dolls to obtain the powers and techniques of the beings turned into them using the Ginga Spark. Ginga is also shown to have an ability similar to mode change. Each of his special moves cause the crystals on his body to shine a different color corresponding to the rainbow. In total Ginga has 8 special moves.
- Ultraman Ginga Cyber Cards : Are cards manufactured by XIO in Ultraman X. Daichi Ozora frequently uses them for Ultraman X to gain power / armor from Ultraman Ginga / Ultraman Ginga Victory. Created by the lab team in Xio's Research and Development section, the Cyber Cards contain Cyber Kaiju.
- Ultraman Ginga Ultra Fusion Cards : Were originally the powers of the past Ultra Warriors, who sealed the King Demon Beasts into slumber. This cards that allow Gai Kurenai / Ultraman Orb frequently uses them to change forms based on the two cards he uses in his Orb Ring.
- Ultraman Ginga Ultra Capsule : Provided by Ultraman Hikari, Reito Igaguri is in possession of Ultra Capsules that represent Ultraman Zero's successors. All these were combined into two different capsules in Ultraman Geed series.
Ginga Spark
- Ginga Spark : Ginga can also use the Ginga Spark as a jumonji yari, though its potential as weapon is unknown, due to it being used by the previous Ginga during a brief flashback. Ginga also can change the Ginga Spark into the Ginga Spark Lance.
- Ginga Spark Sword : In Lost Heroes 2, Ginga is capable of using the Ginga Spark as a combat knife, marching towards the opponent and delivers several energy slashes.
- Ginga Spark Lance : The Ginga Spark can transform into this weapon. Used to battle Dark Lugiel. At one point in time the energy of both Ginga and Dark Spark Lance encased the users in spheres of energy as they took of to the moon. He used it once again after his return to Earth.
