Kotaro is found unconscious the next morning by a group of children and women. after helping Kotaro get back to his strength one of the ladies gives Kotaro a good luck charm. Later when Kotaro joins ZAT, he attacks Astromons once again, but this time in on of ZAT's fighter jets. But Astromons proved to be to much and threw Kotaro's plan into a building. Kotaro was then taken to the Land of Light, where he meets the Ultra Brothers and the Mother of Ultra who merge him with the newest Ultra-crusader: Ultraman Taro. The Mother of Ultra then tells Kotaro that she was the lady who gave him the good luck charm and that it was really the Ultra Badge.

- Ultraman Taro Cyber Cards are cards manufactured by XIO in Ultraman X. Daichi Ozora frequently uses them for Ultraman X to gain power/armor from various Kaiju, Seijin and Ultras. Created by the lab team in Xio's Research and Development section, the Cyber Cards contain Cyber Kaiju.

- Ultraman Taro became a Spark Doll in the conclusion of the Dark Spark War, due to the Darkness Spark's powers. Fortunately, his consciousness remained, allowing him to communicate with Raido Hikaru and co. This Spark Doll has been used on three occasions by two and a group of people:
- In Episode 1 : Where Hikaru tried to change Taro back to his original form, but failed.
- Before the events of Ginga, where Misuzu Isurugi tried to Ultra Live Taro with the Ginga Spark, back to his original form, but failed.
- In Episode 11 : Where the crowd of people visiting the school receive Ginga Light Sparks, and successfully managed to Ultra Live Taro back to his original form. But this was only temporary.
- In Ultraman Ginga Theater Special 2 : He has been seen in the trailer in his original form. After Dark Lugiel's defeat, Ultraman Taro's Spark Doll is likely to have been reverted back to its original form and departed Earth to return home.
