Grou Dragon is the guardian of the Barankas fruit which it produces within its body. The Grou Dragon is a sentient mechanical dragon created by the Makai to reside inside the Crimson Forest and hunt the Horrors there. His only purpose is to destroy Horrors, but when he encountered Kouga he was curious about Kouga's nature to protect people.
He challenged Kouga to a fight to examine his need to protect and offered him the Barankas Fruit as a victory prize if Kouga could defeat him with all his strength. The Grou Dragon helped Kouga summon his armor and his ride Gouten to fight it at his full potential while engaging in a clash of ideals if saving lives is more important than destroying Horrors. Kouga almost lost to him, but Zero stepped in to assist him. Kouga thought he lost the fight because he had help, but the Grou Dragon said that if Rei lend his power to Kouga, that's also part of his power. The Grou Dragon then vanished and Silva remarked that the Grou Dragon was never alive and that the power of the Makai will eventually recreate it.

However, the process is painful and can corrupt the creature. The Barg is placed in a state of rest within a deep well in a small shrine guarded by the Phantom Knights, however, it can awaken from the slightest of physical disturbance. It has a violent temperament and strong enough to kill several Makai Knights and sprout wings for flight.
The Barg is intelligent and can sense certain things about people. The one watched over by the Phantom Knights felt a kindred link with Mayuri and didn't use violence against her. As a Makai Beast, the Barg isn't from the Mortal Realm and can't survive long in the open; it will die within a day if not contained back to its special cell. Because of its power and a living darkness container, the Phantom Knights uses sealing magic to contain the beast before neutralizing it.
Ryūga-Verse
The Barg are physically similar as the ones found in the original universe, but they can't fly and have no wings. Both priests and knights have encountered them within forests and see them as dangerous predators and not as living dark energy sealers like their alternate counterparts. These creatures can cloak and hunt in packs. When hit with a mortal blow, their bodies lose the energy to sustain themselves and turn to ash like vampires. Intelligent creatures, they are capable of reading a threat and know when to retreat.
Dark Castle Radan
Dark Castle Radan is a mobile battle fortress and castle compressed into a small purple crystal in Gold Storm Flight. Its origins are unknown, but it is a highly coveted item by dark forces as it's an immortal object, capable of increasing the powers of the user. Radan was sealed away by the Hōken Sword, but was recently unsealed by the dark couple, Jinga and Amily.
Radan is a dark enchanted castle that has been sealed away for centuries by the Hōken Sword. In its sealed form, it resembles a purple crystal, almost a scabbard for the sword. However, when unsealed, the crystal takes days for it to bring itself to full power for actual activation. However, if the user has the power to infuse additional energies to the crystal, the user can hasten the revival of the castle by several days ahead of expected time.
When activated, the crystal expands until a giant floating version of itself. However, once the user takes hold of the throne and claims its power, the crystal will transform itself into a dark cathedral at first; once a powerful source of magic is joined with the castle, it will take on its final form, a giant robotic battle fortress.
So saturated in dark energies that Zaruba remarked Radan reads off like a Horror, but the origins of its creation was never mentioned; it's not clear was it made by a dark priest or influenced by other forces. The castle is technically indestructible. Despite whatever damage inflicted upon it, the castle can be reformed like new; the only way to defeat such a machine of destruction is its power source.
Magō
Magō are a class of magical tools that can be used to cleanse or seal dark energies away. The Makai Order's classification of a magō have always been broad; any object or living being with purification and/or sealing capabilities against dark energies can be considered one.
Makai Priests have traditionally used custom-enchanted objects, tools, equipment, sentient machines, and even spring water as magō. Unfortunately, the Order have known to be heartless and used spiritual beasts and even people to be classified as such. Once classified as a magical tool, the living being isn't treated fairly nor humanely, just a means to an end. Such "tools" has raised criticism as well as objections from more sympathetic knights and priests.
